Seniornet South Canterbury Inc. was formed in 1992.
SeniorNet offers people over the age of 50 years
the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in computer skills.
Peer training with members teaching each other is our
philosophy.
For many older people the advent of computer technology came very
quickly at a
time when learning new skills was not an option for most of us.
The art of communication must lead to a more profound understanding
of each other, for each others needs and aspirations.
To any other groups of this nature we at
SeniorNet here in
Timaru, South Canterbury, New Zealand, would very much like to hear from you.
One of our main aim is to use this cost effective medium for sharing
information,
knowledge and wisdom for the good of all in our communities.
